Our Supported Missions

Love, Inc.

Love, Inc. is a non-profit organization headquartered in Burlington, Wisconsin with programs and services dedicated to serving disadvantaged families and individuals in Western Racine County.

Our church donates to the Love, Inc. food pantry, makes donations from rummage sales, serves hot meals several times each year, and supports the Adopt-A-Family Christmas Program.

This year, our church served dinner at Love, Inc on January 3rd, February 28th, May 16th and August 29th.

In 2021, through the "Adopt-A-Family" program, church members provided Christmas gifts for 3 local families to brighten their Christmas morning.

Transitional Living Center

The Transitional Living Center (TLC) is a homeless shelter in Burlington, Wisconsin.

Its mission is to provide families and individuals with temporary shelter and basic necessities while assisting them in gaining skills to become self-sufficient, employed, and independent.

Each September the church holds a rummage sale as part of Rochester's 'A Day in the Country'. In 2021, the church donated all proceeds -- over $2700!! -- to the Transitional Living Center. Thanks to those who donated so many treasures to the rummage and to the community for its generous support!!!

Casa Bernabe Orphanage

Our church has a long history of supporting this Christian orphanage in Guatemala.

Many years ago, after visiting the orphanage, one of our members, Chuck Ostrander, started the annual spring rummage sale as a fundraiser. Chuck moved away in 2020, but the church remains committed to the cause. Church members and the greater community so willingly give their time, talent, and treasure to make it a success.

The May 2021 rummage sale raised more than $3,200 for the orphanage!!

Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse, an international relief organization. Its mission is to provide local partners around the world with shoeboxes filled with small toys, hygiene items, and school supplies as a means of reaching out to children in their own communities with the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Each November members of our church family donate items, gather to pack shoeboxes, and donate towards the cost of shipping.

Thank you to everyone who donated items and money (we raised $130) for the Operation Christmas Child and to those who helped packing the boxes on Saturday, November 6, 2021.

The National Association of Congregational Christian Churches

Each year the church makes a voluntary donation to the national association.
